Do you have an event you would like published on our calendar?
Events must be held within the Ferguson Forest Centre and open to the general public.
Each event should include the event title, dates and times, description and contact information.
Additionally you may also include an associated electronic flyer or poster (must be provided in PDF format).
The Ferguson Forest Centre reserves the right to reject inappropriate events or event information at their sole discretion.
Submitted events will be reviewed and if accepted, published on this website.

Donate to Ferguson Forest Centre
Your support and donations to the Ferguson Forest Centre are greatly appreciated. If you would like to make a monetary contribution to the Centre and it’s many activity areas, including the recreational trails, arboretum and off leash dog park, please This email address is being protected from spambots. Please note that donations requiring a tax receipt must be processed by The Municipality of North Grenville and in order to receive an Official Income Tax Receipt, the following items are required:
- Name and full address of individual, organization or business;
- Date of donation
- Telephone number and/or email address (in case we need to follow up)
- Receipts will only be issued for donations over $25.00
- Donations received after December 31 cannot be included in prior year, unless donation was post-marked in the previous year.
- All cash donations must be received and posted at the Municipality, and must be delivered by the individual who will be receiving the income tax receipt. We cannot accept cash donations requiring a tax receipt, directly at Ferguson Forest Centre, rather, these must be processed by the Municipality.
- All cheque donations must be cleared by the Municipalities bank before a receipt can be issued.
- The receipt will be made out to the same name and address appearing on a cheque or other form of payment
- Cheques, money orders and bank drafts must be made out to the "Municipality of North Grenville" (with a notation that the donation is for FFCC). Third party cheques cannot be accepted.
Turtle Trail
Description
Located within the Ferguson Forest Centre, Turtle Trail is a 2.8 kilometre out & back trail along the west shore Kemptville Creek. This recreational trail is relatively flat, with minimal incline and has a natural surface across the length of the trail. This trail is good for all skill levels. Parking is available at Anniversary Park.
Patchell’s Path
Description
Patchell’s Path is a 0.5 kilometre loop, good for all skill levels. This recreational trail is flat, and has gravel around the length of the trail. Parking is available north of the path off Honour Way.
Maple Trail
Description
Located along the southwest side of the Ferguson Forest Centre, Maple Trail is a 3 kilometre out & back trail that offers the chance to see local wildlife. This recreational trail is relatively flat, with incline throughout the trail. Maple Trail connects to Alf Campbell Trail for a short distance. Parking is available on the east side of County Road 44, between Settlers Trail and eQuinelle Golf Course, or across from the OPP station.
Link Trail
Description
Link Trail is a 3.2 kilometre out & back trail and good for all skill levels. This recreational trail is mostly flat with minimal incline. Link trail connects to Beech Trail, Settler’s Trail, Alf Campbell Trail and the Ferguson Tree Nursery.
Chickadee Trail
Description
Chickadee Trail is a 1.4 kilometre loop trail that offers beautiful wooded scenery within the north side of the Ferguson Forest Centre. This recreational trail has incline throughout the trail, but is flat in some areas. Parking is available on the east side of County Road 44, between Settlers Trail and eQuinelle Golf Course.
Beech Trail
Description
Beech Trail is a 1.1 kilometre loop trail located within the Ferguson Forest Centre. This recreational trail has incline throughout the trail, but is flat in some areas. Beech trail connects to Link Trail for a short distance. Parking is available on the east side of County Road 44, between Settlers Trail and eQuinelle Golf Course.
Alf Campbell Trail
Description
Alf Campbell Trail is a 3.9 kilometre loop trail located within the Ferguson Forest Centre. This recreational trail has incline through- out the trail, but is flat in most areas. Alf Campbell Loop passes over some forest roadways, so be cautious of motorized vehicles. Parking is available at the trailhead north of the Fire Hall.
